About Us
Origin
In the enchanting world of French spirits, an emerging brand is quickly making a name for itself — Utopard. This unique brand, founded by Château de la Nauve in Bordeaux, stands out from traditional French spirits such as cognac and eau-de-vie. Renowned as the "kingdom of bread," France boasts some of the best barley in the world. The team carefully selects high-quality barley from central France, focusing on research and the production of French whisky. The fermentation, distillation, aging, blending, and bottling take place in the Cognac region, famous for its "Valley of Spirits," offering customers a unique tasting experience.
Philosophy
The inspiration for the UTOPARD brand comes from the French word "Utopia," symbolizing an ideal and free way of life, perfectly aligning with the brand’s philosophy. The label design draws from traditional French style, representing a classic and free feminine sketch, distinguishing it from the common styles of Scottish and Japanese whiskies, highlighting the elegant French aesthetic.
Teamwork
The region of Charente, known as the birthplace of French spirits and renowned for its "Spirits Valley," is where the Utopard brand originated. This region is home to various professionals in the spirits industry: distillers, bottlers, coopers, printers, and many other specialists. We highlight the unique and diverse craftsmanship of our terroir. We value local agriculture, the process of distillation in traditional stills, and aging in oak barrels. The blending work is meticulously carried out by a team of experts, aiming to create exceptional spirits.
